  Word of mouth is powerful. I normally do not write reviews good or bad, however my experience with this company more specifically Cindie, has been so horrendous that I personally believe it warrants a review on every possible media outlet. If I could give a quarter of a start I would. I was one week away from the due date of our second daughter when we looked into moving into Cindie’s condo. Upon touring the condo my husband and I specifically asked if there are any scorpion infestation issues in the community and home. As an Arizona native I am well aware of scorpions and how to treat and keep them at bay, our concern however, is certain homes and housing structures have infestation issues and we did not want to move to a home with that issue as we have two young children. We were reassured absolutely not. Upon moving in, within the first week I was stung by a huge bark scorpion at 40 weeks pregnant. My husband continued to find more in the home. One my three year old daughter almost stepped on and another one my husband almost stepped on leaving for work. By the grace of god thank goodness they too were not stung. Seeing as this was becoming an issue I started talking to my neighbors and then neighbors at the mailbox and all over the community, only to find out low and behold there is in fact a huge infestation and they even sent out notices to the HOA saying they were going to conduct a scorpion hunt “party” which resulted in hundreds if not more of huge buckets filled with scorpions vein captured. At this point my husband and I felt deceived. We have a newborn who if in the event is stung will land her a trip in the emergency room and can be life threatening. That is not a chance we are willing to take with our girls. We contacted Cindie multiple times ( after having multiple exterminators come out and have the condo professional scorpion sealed) to break or lease. It was not until I retained a lawyer to do so that she agreed to let us out of our lease. Now fast forward to today ( we have only lived here almost six months). We contact Cindie and notified her we found a new place to live. We give her notice and upon that notice we ask a few questions. I payed for the full month of March which any days unused are supposed to be returned to me (so she told me in an email). My husband asked about cleaning, we paid a non refundable cleaning fee of 300. Now we have lived in countless places with landlords and a non refundable cleaning fee is wiping down kitchen bathrooms vacuum mop etc ie light cleaning because they come in after and do a deep clean. Cindie told me I needed to pull out all appliances clean behind them the floors under said appliances, baseboards, walls, ceiling fans, blinds, and the detailed list goes on. This is a deep clean and her specific requests are no where in our contract. If she wants a deep clean I fully expect our non refundable cleaning fee to in fact be refundable otherwise we will clean as required in any rental. This experience has been a nightmare, so much so we will be taking Cindie to small claims court and suing for all of our security deposit and any days not reimbursed for the month of March as well as lawyer fees etc as well as filing a official complaint with the AZDRE. I highly DO NOT recommend this company and have now done my due diligence so that others can be aware of the horrible experience we went through. Maybe if there was a review out there like this that I had saw when we were looking to rent from her and I would have known, we would of never moved in. Honesty and professionalism is something this company lacks and we will never do business with them again.
